Caldwell Educational Facilities, unlike typical project management firms, brings private developer and owner experience to each assignment. As a developer/owner the financial viability of each project is imperative - and we approach our clients' building needs with the same passion and enthusiasm we have for our own projects. Given the need to be competitive in the marketplace, we manage project costs without sacrificing long-term quality, and we manage consultants and contractors from a private market perspective: containing costs and getting the most from each team member. Because changes after construction are expensive at best, Caldwell Educational Facilities invests heavily in up-front research. We work hard to ensure full understanding of users' needs before a single spade of dirt is turned. While many developers, project management firms, construction managers and contractors minimize the research process, our approach is to do the in-depth research necessary to ensure that the facility design enhances the building's desired function, ensuring value for the long-term. Programming is the typical planning process, however, the Caldwell Research Process ensures that each project assignment commences with a very thorough understanding of the client's brand, the user needs, existing design issues and ultimate design goals.
